Bamboo Bay Bungalows are located far from the crowded beaches of Koh Lanta Island, the tourist bars and the shopping centres on a hillside setting overlooking Ko Lanta Island's Aow Mai Pai Bay.
Bamboo Bay is a wide expanse of white sand lapped by the crystal clear waters of the Andaman Sea. Bamboo Bay is part of Ko Lanta National Marine Park, therefore Bamboobay has remained protected and today boasts some of Koh Lanta Island's finest living coral reefs.
Bamboo Bay Koh Lanta has 21 bungalows and a restaurant, all built randomly where nature offered space and are joined by a network of paths and steps through the shrubs and trees we have worked hard to preserve.

Lanta Bamboobeach Bungalows are tucked into a hillside at the northern end of Aow Mai Pai Bay of Koh Lanta Yai Island. Each bungalow faces the beautiful beach with its own private veranda with bench and table overlooking Bamboo Bay. The feeling is one of being alone in a jungle forest overlooking a spectacular sea-side setting in the southern part of Koh Lanta Island.
Bamboo Bay Lanta Bungalows are a little different from each other to conform to the hillside setting with the least environmental disturbance. They offer a good standard and vary in size to accommodate from 2 to 6 people in comfort.

Bamboo Bay Thailand,s seaview bungalows are equipped with double or twin beds and can take one extra bed, while family bungalows have 2 rooms, one with double bed and another with twin beds and one bathroom. There is space for one extra bed in each bedroom at Bamboo Bay Resort.
Bamboo Beach Ko Lanta bungalows on Koh Lanta Island are fitted with fans to augment the fresh sea breezes. Reading light, shelf cupboard and hanging rail offer additional convenience. The western style en-suite bathrooms at Bamboo Bay Resort come with hot water shower.

The restaurant at Bamboobay Thailand is built above the Andaman Sea with a large balcony facing directly west to take advantage of the spectacular Ko Lanta Yai Island sunsets. We are proud of our menu and standard of excellence: Thai and western style dishes are prepared and offered with pride. We emphasize the wide variety of fresh seafood caught daily in the Andaman Sea of Koh Lanta Island by traditional long-tail fishing boats from Koh Lanta Island - fish, squid, prawns, crabs, oysters and more.
Bamboo Bay Bungalows are a magic corner of Koh Lanta Thailand to laze or walk the long white sand beach of Bamboobay of Kho Lanta Island and enjoy the spectacular verdant green backdrop of rainforests and amazing sunsets. Swim our 30º C crystal clear water or snorkel Ko Lanta Island's finest living coral reef just off Bamboo Beach. Or just enjoy the sound of the sea.

Explore the many wonders of Koh Lanta Island and the adjacent Mu Koh Lanta National Marine Park. Walk to the nearby jungle waterfall and cool down in a shower of clean jungle water splashing down from 10 meters overhead. Or rent an elephant to take you there. Hike to nearby caves, see rubber tree plantations and visit the old fishing village or the Sea Gypsies' village. Or take a motorbike to visit Lanta Orchid Nursery, Lanta Butterfly Garden or go elephant trekking in the mountains above Phra-Ae Beach on Koh Lanta Island.
For a change of scene take a day trip in local fishing boats from Koh Lanta Island to some of the most spectacular tropical islands in Thailand including the fabled Koh Bubu Island, Koh Rok Island and the famous Emerald Cave on Koh Mook Island.
At Lanta Bamboo Bay your hosts Amnuay Kokyai and Jon Finsen bid you welcome and a peaceful and relaxing stay.
